BitPolish
One switch for bit-perfect listening. Your external DAC follows each Apple Music track's sample rate, at the bit depth you choose.
BitPolish lives in your menu bar. Turn on Bit-Perfect Listening for a session, and it keeps your external DAC at each track's own sample rate as Apple Music plays your local library, at a locked bit depth: 24-bit by default, or the device's maximum. Turn it off, and your DAC goes back to the format it had before.
Careful with your gear
- Every change to your audio device has a restore point.
- Nothing moves sound to your speakers without a click from you.
- No permission prompts.
- A small mark in the menu bar tells you when playback isn't bit-perfect.
